Gunns20 defendants victorious – Gunns to drop case and pay defendants $155,088.00. 29 January 2010
Gunns have agreed to pay $155,088 to defendants to settle the infamous Gunns20 case.
The case was set to go to trial next Tuesday. Instead Gunns capitulated at the eleventh hour agreeing to pay defendants to settle the case.
This brings the total payments from Gunns to defendants in the course of this five year battle to $1.3 million. This is presumably on top of the $2.8 million Gunns announced at the 2009 AGM they have spent on the case.
